I went to the summer of last year, but it was over packed for lunch time, I had you wait ☺ ️ It was delicious ️ です

Great experience watching the chef making your soba freshly in front of you. Serves only 20 customers at lunch daily, so arrive well before 11:30am to ensure you get a seat!
We went for dinner and it was well worth it . Rakuichi is famous for its soba but it’s not just about the soba. The omakase menu ranges from sashimi, shabu-shabu, to tempura and each of the dish is really good. I have been to this place more than 3 times and it’s always a memorable experience. Reservation opens 3 months in advance so better book early. The place is quite far from grand hirafu main area but the drive is scenic.
Everything about the meal itself was delicious for lunch. Not filling enough for me but my wife loved it. If your in niseko it's delicious but I don't think I would recommend people to drive there just for the soba.
It was the most amazing experience to watch Tatsuru Rai knead mix and cut up the most delicious soba i have ever had. His wife Midori was elegantly dressed in kimono and ever so lovely.We got very lucky to manage to get a seating for lunch since dinner is booked out for the entire winter+spring season. Culinary art.
If you are looking for real traditional home cook food(best soba in the world), hunt for this cute like house in the woods....super lovely couple, they cook themselves ..with love, thats why it taste SO SPECIAL...CHEERS

This was the best dinning experience I had while I was in Niseko. Reservations are an absolute must, we made ours 80 days in advance — they open 90 days prior to reservation date. We arrived early, put our slippers on, met the owners and took our assigned seats. Slowly the rest of the dinner reservations arrived and the show began at 19:00. We had 9 amazing courses, each more inventive and delicious as the last. To finish off the meal we had a Yuzu Sorbet, which was a lovely way to end the meal. From start to finish, this was an amazing experience, great food and atmosphere. Dinner will set you back roughly ¥12,000 per person, but it is absolutely worth the cost.
This is a perfect place after skiing. They serve set menu which all are chef recommendation. You need to reserve this earlier a few months before, because of the limit number of seats. Sashimi is perfect. actually everything is perfect. You can watch owner does soba and serve you freshly. Price was 6000 yen for each person.
Absolutely amazing soba for lunch, along with an underrated tempura. The taste and the texture of the freshly made soba is refined and delicious. The cold soba with duck soup and the vegetable tempura are must gets. To top it off, they're very reasonably priced, 1000-1600yen for a bowl. This restaurant is very well known in the area and to tourists, and they only serve 30 bowls of soba for lunch every day, so make sure you go before they open at 11:30 to get a spot, or reserve a few months in advance for the kaiseki dinner.

Had a ten courses dinner. Our family enjoyed very much of the fantastic food. Service was great. Will definitely come back when I am in this area again.
Incredible food served omakase style. Everything served was excellent. The chef comes out of the kitchen to prepare the buckwheat. Best cold soba ever. Its expensive, but well worth it. Make your reservation early. This one gets 6 stars.
